HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING-PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

I would describe myself as a photojournalistic wedding photographer—meaning I let moments unfold naturally and document them, rather than placing a heavy focus on formal posing.

DO YOU CAPTURE ANY POSED PORTRAITS?

Of course! While you’re enjoying your celebration, I take more of a documentarian/photojournalistic approach to things. But when it comes to family and couple portraits, I’ll step in to direct you into the best light and poses.

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE ON THE DAY OF?

Clients regularly praise my ability to “blend in” and mention how comfortable their guests feel around me. I capture every moment—and all of those “moments in between the moments”—without being intrusive. I’m a highly adaptable photographer with a fun-loving personality—this combination makes for an effortless experience for you and your loved ones.

DO YOU SHOOT FILM?

Yes. I shoot both film and digital for your wedding and have over ten years of experience with both. I love digital for its speed and adaptability, while film offers beautiful tones, a rich grain, and a deeply nostalgic quality.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE WORKING AT NEW VENUES?

I always arrive at least one day early to scout every location that will be involved throughout your weekend. This allows me to get a feel for the lay of the land and develop an understanding of how the light behaves during key times of day.
